Head Instructors:

 Sifu Monte J. Partridge & Shi Fu Teja A. Jaensch   

The current head instructors of the Kung Fu Martial Arts Academy, these two started their training in Kung Fu together 15 years ago under the guidance of Si Gong Keith Blackburn (view Academy History for more details).

After several years of intense training (6 hours per day, 6 days per week) and climbing the competition ladder to represent Australia in various international martial arts tournaments, the pair went to China to further their studies in different areas. They eventually came home to Australia to combine their knowledge, adding to the current system so that the Kung Fu Academy offers a well rounded knowledge of the arts and covers a variety of areas from Wu Shu, Tai Qi and Qi Gong, Shaolin Kung Fu, Modern Kung Fu, weaponry and much more.

These two instructors have also been invited to be the Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Australian Sect of the Chin Woo Athletic Assosciation, an internationally recognised and Chinese government accredited assosciation of Kung Fu Masters and exponents.

Shi Fu Sean Harnett

Shi Fu Sean Harnett is back from overseas!  Although living in town, he still makes it out at least once a week for training. 

Shi Fu Thomas Wildt

With a strong background in Traditional Kung Fu, modern Kung Fu and Cardio-Kickboxing under the guidance of Si Gong Keith Blackburn, Sifu Thomas is a true example of a KFA disciple.  Sifu Thomas is currently on a break, but will be back at the KFA in the near future.

Sifu David Zullo

Shi Fu David Zullo trained with Sigong Keith Blackburn from a very young age, and brings with him a deep knowledge and understanding of the history that founds the Kung Fu Academy.  Shi Fu David is a professional fitness instructor. 

Lao Shi Zhang Chong Wei

Lao Shi Chong Wei is an ex-Shanghai Wushu team champion, and has been involved with the Kung Fu Academy since 2007. He will be joining the team when he moves to Australia at the end of 2010.

Lao Shi Sarah Arratoon

Lao Shi Sarah is a senior Black Sash Kung Fu and Girls Kickboxing instructor.  She is currently working towards her First Red Tip. Lao Shi Sarah is also a qualified personal trainer, and is available for personal training at the academy. Lao Shi Amy Ferguson

Lao Shi Amy is a Black Sash Kung Fu and Girls Kickboxing instructor. She is also a qualified personal fitness trainer. 

Lao Shi Greg Le Couteur

Laoshi Greg is a black sash student who began his training at the KFA in 2004 under the guidance of Sigong Keith Blackburn. Laoshi Greg has focussed his interest onto Taiji Quan, and can be seen in class on Saturdays.

Lao Shi Nick is a Black Sash Kung Fu Instructor.

Lao Shi James Barnett

 Lao Shi James is a Black Sash Kung Fu Instructor.
